Never had any boas only pythons. Is the red tail the most common boa? About how big are they as adults? Is care and requirments a lot different and ball pythons?(bedding, temps, and so on) sorry for all the questions. Clay

I'm relatively new to the boa hobby too, but I've found that one of the best resources is a care book specifically about your species. The Barkers have co-authored some great care manuals, and that should be the first place to look for the basics like temps and whatnot.
Good Luck! Les
