i am building my boas a permanent final cage about 7 feet by 2 feet ( one per boa). it can get quite hot for a cuople of days in summer where i live. what is the maximum temperate that boas can handle quite comfortably?

You shouldn't build a cage or situate a cage where your boa is forced to stay at one temperature or another, either high or low. There should be a temperature gradient in the enclosure so that the boa can regulate it's own body temperature according to it's needs, maybe warmer when it is active or cooler at other times.
To answer your question... a body temperature of around 95deg (f) would not be instantly deadly to most boas but is very likely bad over the long term. On the low side, body temps under about 62deg may cause lasting problems too.
