Can you mate a Ball and Red Tail?

Assuming you're serious here (the reason you haven't had other responses is that most people probably think you aren't)...why would you want to mate them? Ball Pythons are in the genus 'Python' and Red Tails are in the genus 'Boa' and besides being two very different animals coming from different hemispheres (and habitats) of the world they aren't going to have chromosome compatability whatsoever. If you happen to be, or are considering, housing a ball python and boa together they reguire different environments and enclosures, for the health and well-being of each animal.
