And if so under which conditions?????? what age???

Despite what others in this forum might tell you, it is more than possible. Some people used to say that a mating between a human brother and sister was impossible. Yet, your question is here to prove them all wrong.
Good luck.
.
Firstly why the hell would you want to? What the heck why not mate a red tail to a retic, I mean 20 feet of red tail and wicked eyes. Firstly ptyhons lay eggs and boas do not, I see a slight problem with that. Now if you were to introduce two animals, it is possible the male would try to mate the female, but any viable offspring is not even remotely likely.

I don't believe in luck. Luck is God covering your a** when you screw up.
First of all I was asking a question for a friend of mine who doesn't have a computer....I have no knowledge of BOAS and really don't want to ....I was going to relay the info to him...and I don't think he has any knowledge either...The one thing I do know is that I go go into the BEARDED DRAGON forum and they wouldn't laugh at you even if the question looked a little foolish...Looks like were a "BETTER BREEED OF PEOPLE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry man,we were just havin' a little fun at your expense...but,check it out! you did get a serious answer to your question at least
if you think this was rough, try asking on the B.P. Forum, they're a lighthearted bunch, they'd be happy to go into more detail I'll bet...
Well, if everyone is wrong and your cross works, you'll have a better breed of snake too. I'd imagine a red-tailed ball would fetch a high price considering how much 66% possible het for brown and black ones go for. If your friend is into crosses, have him check out the hybrid forum. Most of the discussions there are snake oriented, and I believe they've been asked the python x boa question before.
I posted this question in the bearded dragon forum to see what kind of responses it will get.
Can you breed beardies and iguanas together?
It is always a good quality to be able to laugh at yourself. It is even a better one to be able to laugh at a friend. LOL!

You wouldn't want to breed a little sandboa to a ball python though.*
Seriously, breeding boas and pythons together would be like breeding dogs and cats. It might be fun to try, but you can be pretty sure it's not going to work and someone's eyes might get scratched out in the process. The two families of snakes are only distantly related. Almost as distantly related as agamids and pleurodont iguanians... LEE...
Ihave seen this anomaly (sp?) happen atleast once in my life ... I had my balls on a redtail once but had to stop .. she didnt like it when i smacked her that hard .... can you please pass the pipe ! .. hey i know lets breed a Iguana & a redtail so that we can have new morph boas that are vegatarian!!!!
sorry but please dont take this wrong ... i think the veggatarian boa would sell and of course it wont outgrow a 10 gallon tank!TRUST ME
