Jonathan, I went on your suggestion and put the two of them together. The boa started out by gingerly approaching the parakeet, making some suggestive tongue flicks on the way. I thought they were getting on quite well. Then, out of nowhere, he just swallowed it!!! WTF??? Talk about coming on too strong.

Stay tuned tomorrow when I try to breed a Suri and some cheddar cheese.

Though I think it's still illegal in many states. However the US Supreme Court may see it differently. Who knows, in the near future you may be able to marry the little critters.
