Has anybody had experience with extreme reptiles? What is their reputation? They are selling boas for $35 ?????? I don't think something is right their? People post your comments please.....Thanks joe

I've bought several snakes from them and they always treated me well. Very curtious on the phone, no problems with the payment and delivery was always prompt. Alfredo was a nice person to do business with.
$35 for a boa. depends on which boa you are talking about. He has boas from $19 to over $100. ?

.....Reptiles and all were in good shape and fed great. I would and will buy from Alfredo / X-treme Reptiles again in the future. The boas you are refering to are just most likely your average farmed CA's.

I purchased a pair of WC adult Mandarin Rat snakes from them and one survived. It is finally feeding regularly and looking pretty good after nearly 10 months. I don't blame X-treme Reptiles- I knew what I was getting into. Mandarins are known to be typically in rough shape when imported. The animals were fairly represented and a good price. I just took my chances with WC vs CB (there was a 300.00 - 400.00 price difference). Boas might be a different story- especially if they're farm raised. Alfredo was responsive to my questions and shipping was great. I'd buy from them again- just not WC if I can avoid it. If you want a no frills, just a pet, boa go for it.

I bought a pair of Dumerils from them. Great color and good price,......not $35. More like $300 shipped. Sounds like a typo or a Mean-@ss snake! hehehe

The boas are central american red tail boas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Those are selling for $35.....

I recently purchased a Guyana BCC from them for a great price. Great looking animal. However, he told me it was "CBB" and it was quite obvious after it got here and had taken its first meal that it was not (major parasite load=gurge). I would have had ZERO issues with taking a recent WC (and actually prefer it in this particular case) but it would have been nice to know. I'm currently in the midst of trying to save this animal and I really don't think I would have been in this situation had I known the origin as WC (I would have gone about the whole first few weeks differently-treated for parasites before giving first meal, etc...).

Anyway, I guess I probably should just treat all animals the same when I first get them and treat for parasites and assume the worst in the future, just to be safe. Although I do place some blame on the company for not keeping accurate records on their animals. Overall, the animal is beautiful, a very low price (signal #1 for WC, duh JB!!!), and I think it should make it if I can get it to keep it's next few meals down.
