about five months ago i got a nice baby bci from a reptile show and at first he had a strong grip but now he has a loose grip and would fall off my hand if there was not another to support his head now he does weird head waves when he is handled he seems weak but he eats like no tommorrow he is reaching 3 1/2 ft but slender im just scared he is going to infect my other boas or is there some other muscle problem he could have

There are several causes of neurological problems in snakes besides IBD, but none of them are good news, and are very rarely treatable. Just take care of him the best you can and if you have any other snakes, treat him as if he has an airborne disease just to be safe. I'm hearing way too many stories about paramyxo virus these days. It's like IBD but manages to be worse.
