I just got a beautiful boa loaded with mites! Drat it all! Oh well - it was time to do the monthly mite treatment for everyone anyway, but man it's frustrating. The new one is in quarantine, but it's best to be safe than sorry. Fortunately, I spray the containers with mite treatment before I put the new boas in, so I may have warded off the worst. He described this boa as 'squirmy'. I'd be 'squirmy' too if I had little hateful biting insects crawling all over me! Poor little girl, I feel so sorry for her.
