My #1 female breeder as a juvenile.

I remember drooling over that pic several years ago on your website. how have her colors developed? my all-time favorites are the ones that start very pink/red,and,then go "grape juice purple" as sub-adults! this is a classic "old school" Guyanan I got a couple of years ago,I say "old school" because years ago it was believed that true Guyanans were purple, and, the Suri's were pink.(the resolution is crap in this pic,it was taken with my old camera, but, the color is true! she would turn this color after complete digestion, then bright RED 24-48 hrs. after a meal.)still my absolute favorite B.c.c.!

My female is quite a bit darker than that - she's about 9' now at about 15 years old. Her offspring have been variable - mostly nice purples, but a few have been lighter & some have been red.
I'll be getting a digital soon, so I'll be able to post quicker pics.
Here's a pic of one of her first offspring - my pic of the litter (female) - she should be ready to breed this coming season, or the next.

You need to leave a message - I screen calls - Sorry.
I've got babies now, but I'm really high on males.

Way the head stripe bleeds into the first saddle! I tried to breed the "Welch's grapejuice girl" this past season, but, she didn't take, she's primed for this year,so,we'll see what happens?
