Hypo skin / scale question............

My adult Hypo's skin is always pulled apart/ seperated...as like a gravid females scales pull apart.He stays like this. He eats regularly,just deficated today. But his scales still seem somewhat seperated. What is this? A problem? normal?
He's perfect in everyway. I just have never seen a male stay this way. I hope you can see what I'm talking bout in this pic. He's 100% male. Any replies or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dave

That usually means they are overweight. What is his feeding schedule like?
