ovulating?

wisema2297 Sep 20, 2007 08:52 PM

Wow, what a difference from colubrids!! This is my first year attempting to breed boas. This pair is DH snow. The temps where lowered a little about a week ago and I noticed she is swollen a lot in the lower 2/3's. Is this what an ovulating female should look like? She ate about a week ago as well. I went ahead and introduced the male and will keep them together for next couple of months. Thanks.

Go over to the boaphile's site. He explains it rather well, and has pictures.
