I'm seeing ads for black tail anerys for sale. What exactly is the difference and why do they cost more than "regular" anerys?

First - a little history:

The Black Tail Anerythristics being offered by Reptilian Dreams are the result of a breeding of two boas that I purchased in 2000 as yearlings. Both animals are devoid of any red coloration and have jet black tails. They most resemble a Type II Anerythristic boa, but are definitely Colombian, rather then Central American. I have bred them for the past two years with 100% of the offspring exhibiting the same characteristics as the parents. These animals breed true.

The genetics are as yet unknown and I will not make any claims of compatibility with existing Type I or Type II Anerythristics.
My intention is to work these boas into a couple of diferent long-term projects to discover their true potential.
Only time will tell if these can be bred into an albino line and produce some spectacular snows. This is a ground level project.

I showed these animals to various Boa breeders at the Daytona Expo and the general consensus was that they had never seen anything quite like them and that they offer some very exciting possibilities.

Since the intoduction of these boas at Daytona, I have seen at least one other person offering animals of the same name. I have no knowledge of their animals. I welcome anyone else with a boa that can be classified as such, to please share whatever info you might have. Together, we may be able to make some determinations regarding their lineage and possible future of these awesome-looking boas.
