i held one of my little ones and some black crawling bug fell in my hand,no bigger the dot of a pen...?does anyone have any idea what this is?and what i need to do?

Sounds like you have been plagued with mites. Hopefully this new boa is quarantined from your other reptiles, if not they probably all have mites. Mites suck your boas blood and are known to carry other illnesses like IBD. There are many products that will help get rid of mites(Nix, BlackKnight, Vapona Pest Strips, Proventamite) and they all can be dangerous. My advice would be to do a lot of research before choosing a plan of action. There is a lot of info on the internet about mites. VPI and ProExoctics both have info on their websites. You will need to thoroughly clean & scrub your reptile cages with 10% bleach water. I would soak all of your boas in water and a little dish soap for at least four hours. Then treat the reptiles and cages with one of the products mentioned above. I would use ProventaMite according to the manufacturers directions.
