Going to the ETHS Houston show to see a nice boa? Know this...

There is a wildlife ordinance in Houston which makes boas (and a whole lot of other animals) illegal in your possession for any reason in Houston. Will they enforce it? Who knows, but the language is plain. The applicable ordinance starts with section 6-51, here's the link. (PDF format)

http://www.ci.houston.tx.us/codes/codes-6-3.pdf

Here is the link to the Houston homepage, animal ordinances are under CITY DESK

http://www.cityofhouston.gov/

If you are going you should look into that. What a sad day for people in Houston when they let that rule slip by!

I believe what Tim is trying to get across is that the message in your post Gus, is what we all should be concerned with, instead of bickering over each others preferences.
We should put all this wasted energy towards keeping legislation like they have in Houston from passing in other cities and states, which is what they're trying to do as we speak in Chicago.
Hope this helps.

some negative thing that someone says on a message board, but can't get fired up to do something about the important issues such as people trying to take away our rights to own our animals.Sorry for the confusion..I didn't word it very well.

Not at all what I meant.I am a smart---,but not a mean smart---.It is a good thing that I haven't been elected to draft any cease fire letters during the war...we would all be dead.
