does anyone know about force feeding a boa my 7 foot columbian hasnt ate in about a month and a half.

before you go do something like that, and before we can even recommend anything, please let us know of your conditions...
where did this snake come from - have you had him long, has he eaten before, if so, what? live-dead?
what are his conditions like? hot spot, humidity, substrate, ambient temperature, external cage temperature?
any health problems? parasites? injuries?
change in lighting? exposed to a female? change in caging?
have you used any checmicals or drugs or treatments around or on him? mite spray?
many, many things can cause a boa not to eat.. most of my boas eat weekly, then I have 1 in perfect conditions that has only eaten 3 times in a year and is still perfectly healthy!!!!!!!

please let us know more so we can help you and your boa properly.

I agree, ther's no need to force feed. Make sure everything else is fine and be patient. I have a Brazilian Rainbow that hadn't fed since last November. She ate a mouse two weeks ago and took a nice big rat yesterday. Patience is the key. If your animal isn't sick, and conditions are perfect, just leave it well alone. You'd be surprised how long these animals go in the wild without eating.

Repeat, don't panic!!!

Snakes truly can do fine without food for a long time. Although not a Boa, I had a 3-month old Everglades Rat escape last year. I found it 187 days later and it was fine. That was back in March and today he is almost as big as the sibling who stayed home. They are amazingly resilient.

I would not worry about it
A friend has a kingsnake escape and he found it 6 months later.
within a month it was eating again. 1 month is too soon.
