I have been one to offer advice concerning breeding boas...

One suggestion that I always offer is to leave the male in with the female..period..until there is abvsolutely no doubt that she has ovulated.Well I just had a litter of slugs today from one of my female Dumerils..I can vaguely remember questioning whether or not she had ovulated.I removed the male(5 months ago) anyway.Stupid,stupid.

Tim, I'm sorry you've had that experience. In hind sight it's always easy to look back and see what one should have done but at least you've had a good year with many of your other animals. Everyone should have your good fortune! Thanks for the advice on not yanking the male out to early.
