Guess who decided to give birth?

AbsoluteApril Aug 31, 2003 10:51 PM

hee!
Guess who finally decided to give birth 8/30/03... Lemondrop!

check out the color diff...

I liked this het

Some of the albinos have a lot of pink overtone...

These babies are from Lemondrop (aka Kelly) and Bud (the same het male who
fathered Autumn's litter) Born at 6:15pm...

there were origially 18 live babies (9 albino, 9 hets), 8 stillborn (all albino) and 2 slugs
As of now, 1 albino and 1 het that were slightly underdeveloped passed away, so I have 16 now.
I hope the rest of them make it, but it looks good there are only 2 others I am worried about.
This is so much fun, esp. seeing the differences in all the babies!
Have a great holiday everyone!
-April

Congrats on your first albino's. I just had my first albino's this year and unfortunately only 1 out of 3 made it but it does make you happy seeing those babies.

Me and a buddy went to Havre de Grace show.

Some guy was telling my buddy that he knew all the "big breeders"
He was also saying that albino females have NEVER had a clutch.

This here is another proof that
1. It can be done
2. The guy was a noone pretending to be someone

I am glad for both of you and Lemon Drop.
Also, this is a big slap on the face for THE ONE who has been trolling this forum and bragging that breeding Albino is nothing but slugs and infertiles. This proved that his THEORY is nothing but rumors and gossips.

Congrats! I'm looking forward to breeding in a couple years. I just hope I'm as fortunate to have as nice looking babies. Good Luck!
