I'm looking to buy a CB baby Suriname Boa. Does anyone know of a quality breeder? TIA.

Hi, I don't usually post, but this prompted me to respond.
DO NOT BUY FROM LLL!!!
Myself, as well as (Dilwann?) I believe on this forum have made the mistake of purchasing from them. Although my boa was labeled as "CB" he immediately started loosing weight after I bought him. Customer service was no help at all, they told me to buy some Panacur over the counter from their store. They refused to pay for any of my vet bills when I confronted the guy I bought my boa from with the reciepts. He claimed I should have just Panacured him myself, which is not good practice for a first-timer. He had Strongiloides, which is rather rare in reptiles and not at all found in CBB species. Luckily, he is still alive and healthy thanks to over $300 in vet bills. Now that I know better I wish I would do what you should do, and buy a CBB specimen from someone like CE or many of the fine breeders on this forum. You really get what you pay for, imports are not worth it, even if LLL says they are CB. Other people have not been so lucky with LLL. I believe Dilwann had his "CB" guyana boas die.
Do alot of research, check out breeders reputations, make sure you know what you are getting into before you buy, it will be worth all the money in the end.
Good luck with your search!

I would never buy from LLL.
In addition to the aforementioned breeders, you should check out Florida Redtails and Basically Boas. They will be producing some fine Suri's in the months to come.
THEY HAVE SOME VERY NICE CBB BABIES. IF YOU DON'T MIND SPENDING A LITTLE MORE MONEY CALL ROB TUDEHOPE. HE HAD TWO CLUTCHES WITH A TOTAL OF 69 BABIES A FEW WEEKS AGO. BOTH OF THESE SOURCES ARE VERY TRUSTWORTHY. IF THEY SAY THEY ARE CBB, THEN THEY ARE CBB. CHUCK DOES SELL ALOT OF IMPORTS, BUT HE PROFESSIONALLY TREATS THEM FIRST AND MAKES SURE THEY ARE PARASITE FREE.
Rob Tudehope He has soom of the best cb babys you are going to find.I have seen the 60 Boas he just produced. All are true screamers.Very clean with super thin saddles killer red tails.Trust Rob he is as good as a breeder gets.1-712-274-1885 Brad Wooten
Thank you for all your replies. After going to some websites, I'm going with FloridaRedtails.com. It looks like the Suriname Boa is what they specialize in. I left them an email on their upcoming babies. Thanks again
If it's worth anything I just bought a young female Suriname from Ben Siegel at the Raliegh show. She replace a young male BCI that died several weeks ago. That animal was purchaced from LLL.

Brian has the key ingredient to the best looking surinames on the market. From what I have been told he should have some that should be awsome in a month or so.
