First off, thanks so much to everyone for the support and
encouragement and all the nice comments about my first litters!

I cannot express how exciting and fulfilling it is!
Update on Lemondrop's litter..
well 1 more albino and 1 more het have passed. I noticed that
the ones that were stillborn and the ones that have since
died are all the 'lighter' paler colors, I now assume these are
underdeveloped... there are still 2 more albinos and 1 het that
are the same pale color. they are hanging in there for now,
they do seem to dehydrate quicker than the others so I am keeping
them all in the nursery tank with extra humidity... all the
others are looking good, moving a lot and piling up in the corner.

I did want to also mention, that yes, this is one 'proof'
that not all albinos have is only slugs and infertiles
to that nay-sayer out there.

Update on Autumn's litter...
all have survived and are doing good, even the little twins.
They are starting to go into their first shed cycle, oh and
I was off on the # of babies, I thought it was 26 but in
my haste and excitemnt I missed a couple, the total was
actually 30. Whoo..
lots of little mouths to feed!
This has been a great week for me, validates my keeping of
snakes to the b/f finally too. lol

congradulations on the newones ... aint it a blast! sorry to here that some albinos have passed just keep the faith and the mouths to feed will make all the more easier.. good luck and ya know the pics have to be posted again after sheds !

Buisnesses come and go everyday, what keeps you here is how you treated the customer the day before....

I am having a hard time keeping the camera out of the snake
room, I have to keep telling myself "no, just let them be and
rest.."
Oh you betcha I'll have pics when the survivors shed!

Good luck with the rest of that litter, hope they all make it. I hear ya on the "validation", my wife keeps asking me when my snakes will "pay off", lol! Hopefully this coming season I will get a couple of litters. Any money I get will more than likely go towards cages or more snakes, hehe.

That most are doing well,sorry you lost the other two,() just remember not to keep them too wet,and,change the paper daily,while they're kept together,and,the rest should do fine! again,congratulations on your second success of the year!!! way to GO!

Didn't know about the not keeping them too wet part.. I have
been misting them all down and keeping the paper wet! eek!
I got home and one more albino is gone... it's a drag to
walk in and find a dead baby, but such is life... unpredictable!
At least I know the ones that are surviving should be strong.

I'm going to move them into seperate enclosures tomorrow
and I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
