Just a question to the Dumeril breeders, Do you need more than a pair to breed Dumerils Boas(Male Combat etc)????
Also do Dumerils need a temp reduction???

You do not need to have male combat to breed dumerils. You can get by fine with just a pair. I cool my dumerils, but others state success without cooling/cycling them. As far as that goes though, I think most animals are cycled whether the keeper is aware of it or not. If you have a window in your snake room that isn't covered over.....there's probably some day/night cycling going on if nothing else. As far as I know, though I've never worked with them, the Madagascan Ground boas do much better breeding with some male/male combat. If going that route in the future I'd talk with people such as Don Hamper. Best of luck to you, take care!
