Should you/Do you feed during breeding? And if so, How long do you keep them seperated for digestion afterward? TIA

Feed the girls,(males usually have only one thing on their minds!)I keep the males separated for 24 hrs. or so afterwards. I feed much smaller food items during this time,and,much less often,they don't "always" accept food,but,if they seem hungry,I offer it....
That's the way I felt about it, but wanted to hear it from some who have "been there, and done that"... Thanks again!
