i have a 2.5 year old male red tailed boa who is around 6-7 feet and i am building a new enclosure i was wondering if 4'x5'x2' would be a good sized cage it would have lots of branches and stuff, i was also wondering how i should heat it i am thinking of using a ceramic bulb but was wondering if it would get to hot under the basking spot because i would be heating the whole cage, or is there a way i could heat the bottom to around 85 and keep the baking area around 90-95, i need ideas any help would be appriciated.
