Okay I am planning on building an encolsure for my female boa, as of today she is roughly 5 and a half feet and 15 and a half months old. I have been told she is very large for her age, my other two are half her size and the same exact age. She is growing very fast and I need to build this cage before winter sets in. For her as an adult would she life comfortably in a 6x4x4 cage? Right now she is in a 4 by 3 by 3, she has been spending most of her time out of her cage, which i dont mind but my girlfriend and family dont like it too much. If 6x4x4 isnt big enough tell me what size, ive been looking at sites and they are vague. I have a 14x6x9 foot space I'd rather it be 6x4x4 only because I have the plans and the wood already bought from a nile monitor cage that was scrapped. Also would heat lamps in the cage be fine or should i keep them out of the enclosure? Right now i use under tank heat pads that are regulated via dimmer switch, how much more difficult are heat lamps to regulate? i have a decent sized budget so just tell me what i need, and if you could show me some examples...
Help is always appreciated
