Hi all.
A few months ago I posted about the Leucistic Rainbow Boa that belonged to the late Joe Robson. I had photographed Joe's animals on occasion, and have a bunch of 35mm prints.
Some of you wanted to see the pictures so today I had a several scanned.
I hope you like them. Here's one. I'll put the rest in the next few posts.

I'm impressed that someone was able to get their hands on one of those and keep it healthy and all... but the no color thing kind of kills the thrill of the rainbow/irridescence.
definitely a unique animal and it's impressive... but i can't say it's on the gotta have it list...
quick question... colombian rainbow... right?

Does it still have the iridescence that a normal rainbow would have, or is that linked to the colored pigments and missing as well?
Hi Ryan.
As far as I can recall (these pix were taken over 10 years ago) the animal had a normal amount of scale shine, like an albino specimen might have. However, I did not see the snake in sunlight.

So nobody knows what happened to these beauties???
I can not belive that those three snakes disappear like that, I think we are going to see some for sale pretty soon.
