here's a shot of 3 of mine (I have a stack of 4 now..)
you can see in this shot over the left side the flexwatt
heat tape I've run up the back. I control the heat with
a bigapple thermostat. Boaphiles in general IMO are good
cages, they hold the heat and humidity well, they are stong
and lightweight... pretty easy to clean (although urates
stick just like they do in other cages). My only big problems
with the boaphiles is the fact that they always get damaged
in shipping, every single one I've gotten has been damaged
in some way. Typically the corners get crushed and so those
lock-pins never work for me. I had one that had gotten cracked
but boaphile replaced which was very nice of him. The others
I just live with the damage. I do plan to buy some more,
as well as the 3'x2' ones for my pair of BRBs. Plus the price
is very attractive for the boaphiles (in standard black/white).
(I also use and am happy with Neodesha and BARRS cages,
I have some reptariums but am phasing those out, and I've
never used Visions)
Hope that helps..

that the ambient temp in my snake room is 70 degrees at
night and 80 during the day (well that will probably change
once I move lol) but I have heard boaphiles work best
when there is a steady ambient temp already of around 70
I know what you mean about crushed corners, April. A Friend of mine sent his back 2 or 3 times before he got one that wasn't to crushed to keep. I just got my first one and despite bubble wrap I still had a slightly crushed corner...not bad enough to go through the hassle of sending it back, but annoying just the same. I love absolutely everything about the cage itself, but Jeff seems like he's having a problem getting them undamaged to the customers. I hear that for some reason, California is particularly bad. Maybe he should use corner guards.
Awesome cage, though.
Here's my 421 with light and heat installed, just got it yesterday.
You can see how it holds humidity...

My BRBs in their new cage...

You may not be able to read this but it's 70% humidity and 86 degrees...

I would definitely buy again! No damage during shipping like April reported, tons of bubble wrap in the packing is probably why. Extremely light, I only thought my Visions were light. I will probably buy all Boaphiles in the future. I love my Visions also but with free shipping and the built-in options the Boaphile is a great deal.

JMHO, FWIW, YMMV.

I just got 321's today with the heat and lighting options.
VERY light cages, real quality. Now I just need my female albino and het male boa to get here so they can disappear into such large cages. I ordered with the expandable sides, later I plan to add a "corner" piece to each cage and an additional 321.
