sorry about the spelling i tried but which one is more clam,nicer and less likely to srike i know any snake will srike feeling threatened but out of the two how has the best attude Thanks

Tempermant is really going to be dependent on the particular snake.
With that being said Hogs do have a reputation for being more "hissy" than a Colombian, but that can also be attributed to individuals. Best thing to do is buy something that you have been able to handle or buy from a breeder that you trust to give you a straight forward honest answer about the snakes tempermant.
If given the choice between the two I would go with the Hog, I like the coloring and the smaller adult size.

I agree that it depends on the snake, just because some snakes have a "reputation" does not make them all bad. I have 2 hogg islands and a guyana and they are all great "calm" snakes. I must say they all get aggressive during their feedings but that is to be expected. Again it really depends on the idividual snake and they will most likely calm with age and handling. Hope this helps

If you gave away the hog in your pic, I thing the debate would be over! Where did you get it? It looks to have no pattern on the side. Very impressive

Thanks for the comments, her name is Eos and we bought her from a reptile store in Vegas. We were lucky because we knew nothing about Hogg's at the time, she was our 2nd snake and as you can see she is beautiful. She will be bred to our male Hogg hopefully sometime next December.
