This is my big sweetie, Gertrude - she's a big-boned gal. We adopted her this year. This is a pic taken right after we got her, she looks much more muscular now and less, well, . . . fat.
The folks that had her were feeding her 8lb rabbits every other week or so. I suppose you can get away with that, but she seems to enjoy eating smaller f/t prey items more frequently. She looks much more sleek these days. Sorry for the indoor pic, but the nieghboors might sue us if we took her outside for a photo-shoot.
