I have a colombian Boa that was an owner surrender. I sexed by visual looking at spurs which i realize can be inaccurate.
Here are the stats.
21.4 lbs
approx 8 feet
spurs are approx size of a tip of a pen
Tail is approx 6 inchs from base of vent.
Probing went 1 7/8 inchs
What is it. A boy or Girl.

Look carefully at this photo and you will see the white spur on a black background. This is the spur of a five foot Brazilian redtail male. Males will have large, hooked and sharp spurs kind of like little cat claws. I know many people will tell you you can't go by spurs but in 30 years of keeping boas I have yet to see a female with these types of very large, sharp and hooked spurs.
