Ok, I am going crazy trying to get the pinks on my dumerils boas to show up in pics. Anyone got any ideas (huh uhm CE). I have tried direct sun, shade, cloudy, on porch, in grass. Ive messed with a few settings, but still learning the camera.

O well, here is a scaled down version of a pic I got. This is the best I can do for pinks, and I assure you its not accurate. Every other color seems to pick up decently but the pink. Ive noticed from looking at other peoples pics of dums, that it seems no once can capture the pinks. Anyone got a good pink dum shot?

I've got a couple of snakes that are photogenic, and some whose colors I cant get without "Photoshop'ing" the pic. Oh well. I guess we'll have to Imagine the pinks.

Hahahahahahahaha , sorry I had to do it. Anyway, I took this photo of my dum outside on a cloudy day with the camera set to it's default settings. The only thing I changed was switching to macro (closeup) mode. I think it came out pretty good... next time you see a cloudy day with a little sun shining through the clouds.. grab the snakes and run outside before the clouds leave. That is the best time to take pics and the photos come out the most accurate. Either that, or you can figure out how to use the camera better, but I personally don't mess with the settings.

What a great pic man. And I know I am soo fine, but dam it dont tell me that my head will get to large.

Ive tried everything but cloudy with the dums, hopefully a cloudy day will work. If not, I will just have to accept I am not a photographer....grudgenly.
