Cover the screen partially with something.. a plastic for sale sign cut to size, styrene foam insulation, whatever. You can leave an area around the heat lamps alone of course.
Glass is OK but doesn't insulate very well if the room is cold. Look into a Neodesha Plastics cage (www.neodeshacages.com) or a Vision (see LLL Reptile or Big Apple Herp) or a Boaphile (www.theboaphile.com) or many of the others often advertised in the classifieds (under Supplies/Cages). Or, there are outfits that will make you a melamine cage.
