Info on Nicaraguan Boas

ball_boi Sep 22, 2003 06:57 PM

Hello all. I'm interested in purchasing a nicaraguan...but don't know much information about them. Does anyone have any information...as to if they get the same size as other localities and is there temperent better or worse. I've been unable to locate any information on the net and was just wondering if anyone had any. Thanks all.

Nics are a smaller, very dark boa that can have anything from a very nice temperament to nasty. They are imported as babies into the US and are often incredibly inexpensive. I even see them at Petco from time to time on "special" for a cheap price even for Petco. They are very hardy and easy to keep, as well as smaller, but IMO are just not as pretty as a "Colombian." Still, if size is an issue, Nics don't have the mass that Colombians do.

The most varied and the most beautiful IMHO anyway.
