RIP Cate

bloodpythons Sep 23, 2003 10:47 AM

My ’99 female Belknap Surinam died yesterday out of the blue…awaiting necropsy reports at this time.

Some of you “old school” forum members will remember her – she’s “Tango’s” sister...not to mention one of my all-time favorite snakes - EVER.

September 23, 2003...RIP "Catey Face"

"These Are Days" (10,000 Maniacs)
These are days you'll remember.
Never before and never since, I promise,
will the whole world be warm as this.
And as you feel it, you'll know it's true that you are blessed and lucky.
It's true that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom in you.

These are days you'll remember.
When May is rushing over you with desire
To be part of the miracles you see in every hour.
You'll know it's true that you are blessed and lucky.
It's true that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom in you.

These are days.

These are the days you might fill with laughter until you break.
These days you might feel a shaft of light make its way across your face.
And when you do you'll know how it was meant to be.
See the signs and know their meaning.
It's true, you'll know how it was meant to be.
Hear the signs and know they're speaking to you, to you.

With a heavy heart...

K

Many people don't understand how anyone can become attached to a snake but there are very many of us that know just how much it truly hurts. There's just no replacing an animal that's loved and appreciated so. I hope you find out the cause of the tragedy and you are able to recover soon from your loss.

She really is a beautiful animal. Such a wonderful color to her. Will you let us know what the necrop. tells you when you find out?
