On a visit to the new Regal Reptile store I was drawn to the spectacular purple on the parents, and when I asked to see the babies, I immediately noticed the tail on this girl, and the purple already on her sides. Though I was definitely in the market for a male, I had to have her, for out of a very pretty group, she was the one.

She's so calm and curious, has never once even tried to bite, and ate her thawed rat pup with gusto. She is one of those snakes you can't take your eye off, I can't wait to see how she develops.

i have a very simialr female, who is very sweet as well attitude wise. almost identical tail, color, size and saddle shape.

If that's the same Regal Reptiles that I've bought boas from at snake shows, you better get that baby to a vet before it's too late! Would that be Regal from northeast U.S.?

Actually, we've had very good luck with them, between friends and myself ... one Hog Island Boa, Chondro, Peruvian Redtail, Ball Python, this Guyanan and not a problem with any of them.
