ONE OF THE DOWNSIDES OF BOA BREEDING...more...

BCAGLEREPS Sep 23, 2003 02:36 PM

I'D LIKE TO START OFF BY THANKING CHUCK AND ROB OF CENTRAL FLORIDA REPTILE BREEDERS FOR ALL THEIR HELP IN THE LAST FEW DAYS. I'VE NOW GOT MY NEW COMPUTER UP AND RUNNING AND WOULD LIKE TO SHOW ONE OF THE DOWNSIDES OF BOA BREEDING. THE FOLLOWING PICS ARE OF MY BLACK BOA GIVING BIRTH. UNFORTUNATELY, SHE ONLY HAD ONE LIVE BABY AND A FEW SLUGS. SHE GAVE BIRTH ON
9-21-03. THE FORTUNATE THING IS SHE RETAINED MOST OF HER BODY WEIGHT AND WILL BE READY TO GO AGAIN NEXT YEAR. HOPE YOU ENJOY THE PICS.

Congrats on the others, and let's hope this lone baby fills her parents shoes!

Everyone knows how much of a letdown it is to sit and watch the girls through slugs. Don't get too down, when breeding BCC you know it comes with the territory. Just count you blessings on the ones that made it. You have some killer looking babies from the other litters that you just had. They would be a great addition to OUR collection.....(hint hint).

It was no problem posting your pics. Good luck with the new computer.
