I have thought about getting some leopard geckos, and getting into breeding for a long time. What I was wondering though is: they say it is alright to house 1 male with 3 or 4 females, but what if I am getting them while they are baby's? Will it still be okay to house them together from that age? Any response is appreciated.

I would recommend keeping them separate until they are of breeding size and age. They will probably get along alright unless there is a big size difference, however, they may begin breeding too soon. I would separate the male for sure so this does no happen. The more individuals you can separate, the quicker they will should attain 40 grams. I am starting to keep my animals until they are 50 grams to breed, because they seem to lay more with larger, healtier babies. Hope this helps,
