this morning at the petshop i found our female boa dead. she had just had 1 baby and 1 slug the day before yesterday and that was it. this morning she was dead. i had had my doubts before that she was gravid. she showed all the signs but nothing....and still nothing. then she had the one baby stillborn and the slug, and i thought that was it. so today once i found her dead i performed a necropsy to find 3 dead unborn babies and 7 slugs. this female had produced 3 times before with an average of 14 babies. this was really unexpected. she was bound up with a huge slug mass. this was very disapointing to find out but,, we will move on.
