my guyana boa's eyes are completly sunken in she has gone to my rep vet and he says she has an eye infection.but i dont know if i completly agree with it there is no signs of an infection her eyes are just sunken in. nothing has come out of them. her cage humidity is being worked on i have considered that and i am doing my best to keep it up i give her fresh water every day.she is on reptibark. i hope somone can help

Only one thought come to mind, mites. The way that I get rid of mites is soaking the snake in warm water with just a drop of liquid soap for an hour, then rinse the snake throughly. Clean the tank with water and bleach, one tbs per gal. Rinse the tank at least 3 times with water, let air dry. Buy a pest strip cut into little pieces, place the pieces in a small container with a lid on it, make alot of holes on the container before placing the little pieces in it. Place the container in the "cool" spot of tank for about 2-3 weeks, this should kill all the mites as well as any hatchling eggs. Use paper towels as the bedding, you'll be able to see all the dead mites. Alot of people don't like pest strips but I'm telling you they work the best.

i would argue against the use of pest strips... they may work very well, but for the sake of your snake, it's much better to use something slightly less potent for a slightly longer time...

check into something like black knight or provent-o-mite...

but then again, make sure you have mites before you do anything...
