I have a 55 gallon tank, 48x14x12. I was wondering if i could take two properly cut pieces of plexi glass, drill 10 1/2 inch holes in each piece and have them slide so they fit just perfectly into the edges of the tank. Would this fit the proper humidity levels? I have a 12x12 heat pad that fits just perfectly on the botton, the tank looks awesome how its set up. Would my idea work?
