Cay Caulker Island Boas... I LOVE them! :-D

Jonathan_Brady Sep 27, 2003 05:32 PM

These little imperator from an island off of the coast of Belize in Central America are just TOO cool! Their color changes throughout the day are just killer. These pics don't even accurately capture just how LIGHT they really were. I mean... they were WHITE. Other times, they're so dark that the camera can't focus on the intricacies of their pattern (you'd know what I mean if you tried it). Anyway, enough talk, here's a few pics!
This one DEFINITELY turned out more brown and less white/washed out than what I was seeing...

be sure to check out the follow up thread pics... I actually impressed myself w/ an eye shot

Look at his eye, you can actually see the clouds and the trees behind me. It's hard to get a good eye shot b/c it's so dark that the camera can't focus in on it, but I think I got fairly lucky!

ok, that's all! hope you liked 'em!

I LOVE those snakes!! They are awesome!

I also love these smaller pics - easier for my poor 'ole dialup modem I would love to look at all your pics, but when I see those HUGE ONES loading, I know it will take forever, so I usually give up. These smaller pics load way faster...........THANKS!!!!
