help on distinguishing adult normal b.c. imperators and anerythristic ones.
just recent got a chance to put my anery and a common adult imperator side by side. how come they look almost the same? are there any distinguishing marks or colors? the only difference ( a very slight one too) is their tails. anerys are mostly black to dark dark gray, the imperator has a slightly lighter colored tail (brownish black). they are bother around 5feet.

Anerytheristic means lacking red pigmentation. Not all anery's have black or silver tails. As you can see in the pic my female anery has a dark brown tail and some of her saddles are brown and some are silver. I hope this reply and pic helps.
