Well, there hasn't been an Ugly Suriname contest (yet?), but this girl would definitely be a top contender!

A private importer I know has figured out that Gus is a monkey for all the crazy crud he brings in (as long as it comes with locallity info) so now I'm working with this cutie!

Her head has so-much charcoal-grey on it the digital has trouble focusing in auto-focus mode. I knew she was not a show-stopper when I got her but I figured she would clean up after shed, and she has a nice pattern. Well, this is her best-look after two sheds!

Heck, I'm probably founding something new here 'Doomsday-Surinames' .. And hey, she is very calm and does not get upset.. just clamps down and chews for bone without any fuss or commotion at all!

Gee..I might be all alone here but I really like the dark Suris and think she is gorgeous. So, if you ever get tired of her "clamps" and charcoal head I will be happy to take her off your hands.

have you noticed any color changes from that SUPER dark purple color? or is it a seemingly permanent thing?
also, she must be "ugly" b/c she doesn't have peaks. b/c everyone knows that suri's have HUUUUGE peaks
anyway, i'm still betting on your original thought, she'll lighten up.
hey, got any ventral photos of that one? seems to be relatively clean and i'm curious to see the degree of speckling underneath.
