She is a 4-5 year old 8ftish Argentine that is sweet as pie.

Nice John. Is that a 421 or 422? Is that big enough for an 8' boa? Just wondering because my BCO will be 8' I'm sure. She is growing fast and I have her in a Vision 422 now and I just wonder if it will be big enough for her in the future.

JMHO, FWIW, YMMV.

Not quite sure. It is 4x2x1. She is just fine in it for now. I am sure that when she turns around 8 she might need a larger tank. But, it's really not bad for her at all now. I'm not too worried about it to be honest. She is spoiled and gets out quite a bit for exercise so even if she gets to be in the 9ft range......I think she'll be fine in there. But, time will tell.
They really are nice cages. I really like mine a lot. I want to buy a couple more next month.
So, how's your Arg. getting bigger I bet.

When I say 8..........I mean 8 years old. Not 8 ft. She is already there. LOL! I am sure that with age she will beef up even more. If that is the case.......She might need a bigger tank. But, I am sure happy with these tanks. I hope I don't have to get other brands to put my large constrictors in.

My Argentine female is about 5.5' now. I've slowed her feeding schedule down to one large rat every 2-3 weeks. I think she would eat daily if I let her!
Your cage must be a Boaphile 421. I have that same cage for my BRBs. I have 3 Vision 422s for my female BCO and my BCI pair. I have to say I am really impressed with the Boaphile. I got mine with heat and a flourescent light installed. All I have to do is put the water dish over the heat to keep the humidity up for my BRBs. As much as I like my Visions I think I will only buy Boaphiles in the future. My snakes get plenty of excercise too, I take them *all* out at least twice a week and some of them every day.
