i am going to do a side project and raise something new both for the fun or it and also to et something larger to feed my boas. i saw some large guinea pigs. i used to keep them when i was younger and want to raise them again as pet/feeders. are they good feeders? i had heard they are high in fats?

what about dwarf rabbit? i had them too. they are a kind og mongrel dwarf and get larger then dwarfs, anyway they can be feed at any size. is it a good idea? any what about the extra fur of rabbit and guinea pigs, would it block the boas?

or should i just forget the whole idea and toss in 2 or 3 rats instead? what do you feed larger boas?

guinee pigs=loads of fats for your boa=not good

dwarf rabbits=not as much fats as guinees,absolute better than guinees as food.

rats=yeeeeaaah,only mistake,you do,is to give your boa 2-or3??errm,try to give her rather a huge monsterat than 2-or three littleones or middles

You suggested one monster rat over two or three smaller ones... Why is that preferred? This relates to a post I made a few lines down - my boa is refusing larger rats, but I don't think one smaller would fill her up. Do you think there is a problem with multiple rats in one feeding?

if that is all she will take then it is fine..The main reason from what I have heard/read is a single rat will have more musclemass, and less fur per volume then a couple smaller ones will, so you end up feeding more nutrients with one large rat rather then 2 smaller ones.
