I usually cycle my boas for 8 - 10 wks, then pair em up. I was just curious if anyone introduced during cycling? I've never done it. Thanks for any info.

This year I took 1.1 bci's and put them together then started the cooling and hooked up the humidifier to one of the vents on the cage. Within 2 weeks courting began and soon after I saw copulation. I'm not sure if she took yet but I should find out soon. Last year I cooled first and out of 3 pair 2 gave birth and one gave some premes

I put them together when I start cooling, I get alot of courting and some breeding, but the females do not seem to ovulate until I warm them back up. Maybe it is coincidence, but I think they might know they can not acheive the desired 86 until I warm them up. Just a guess though.Craig Kade
