Can anyone suggest an incandescent bulb color to use on my boa at night

for heat and visibility.

They are not a real blacklight (like for posters, with UV), but give off a dark purple glow - They are available this time of year for Halloween.

I prefer the ones that look like a blacklight. Either way, make sure the bulb glass is actually that color and not just a painted regular bulb.
