Is it ok to build a cage for boa using those L shape brackets to hold the wood together rather than directly drilling the wood together. If you go to the link below you can see what I mean.

LOL..No thats not my site, its a site I was looking at for Ideas on building a cage. I Just wanted to know if it was ok to make the cage like they did.

Guess I read that message wrong...sorry. I don't see a problem with building them that way. Those L-shape brackets would be a good spot to peel away shed skin for the snake. Good luck

I have used these in a few of my custom built cages. I do not like them due to rust and it also makes it very difficult to clean the cage. So now I just use screws and pre-drill the holes before puting it together
