a long time ago i was thinking about purchasing a solomon's island boa, and my friend who knows alot about snakes sais they need to be handled alot so they tame down or else they may get agresive. are these snakes really like this, how is there temperment?

Hi----I think for the most part these snakes are non aggressive. I have 4 solomons and they all have a great demeanor. Alot of these animals being offered are wild caught still and maybe the stress of captivity causes this. I think the candoia aspera (viper boa) of this family tend to give the others some bad ink.
