hmmmmm

as my first snake should i buy a suriname red tail boa, a columbian red tail boa, or a guyana red tail boa.im going
to get a male if that helps,and im buying the animal as a baby.ive done a ton of research and i think ill be ready to get him soon.thx

Colombian boas make a great first snake. Surinames an Guyana's tend to be a little more difficult when they are babies. I would go with the Colombian for a first snake and then when your hooked like the rest of us you could move on to a more challanging more beautiful snake like a Suriname and already know what to expect

well my first question is why a male to start off with as a first snake? 2nd question will you be able to house these choices as adults? 3rd question which did you like the look of best? 4th why not a peruvian?

1.males are smaller as adults.
2.yes i will be able to house the snake as an adult
3.suriname looks the coolest,but id rather have a nice snake that doesnt have as pretty patterns then a mean snake with better patterns.i own a blizzard leopard gecko and people say he is somewhat odd looking,but he is so nice and cool!and for caging can i use a heatpad on one side of the cage,then the other half just be like room temperature,so if hes hot he can move to one side,and if hes cold he could move to the other side?

well i think it was i that told you befor that suri's are not first snake material you want a boa go with a nice colombian.
