Plastic Cages from Moonstruck Exotics?

John Q Oct 13, 2003 10:32 AM

I'm considering getting one of these cages instead of using a 60 gallon, 48 inch aquarium with a locking top. I have other options such as building one out of melamine but with all the moisture/humidity, I think plastic or glass is better than melamine. Has anyone purchased one of the cages from Moonstruck? If so, what's your opinion? What other cages are available at a competitive price?
Thanks in advance
John Q

I have heard they are great. Precision also makes a similar cage that I use. They don't include the heat though.

You could also check out the Animal Plastics cages at www.wantapet.com

I have a 4' moonstruck enclosure and it works wonderfully. I also have a large animal plastics enclosure and my preferance leans to the moonstruck (don't get me wrong though, the ap are good cages, just too big and the light source is a light/heat emitter bulb)
