yesterday i went to feed my female boa... 4 feet. i used to feed her every 7 dyas but now i am starting to feed her every 14 dys after some advise i got.

i thought she would be very hungry after not having eaten for so long. she never issed a meal and always looks like she could eat more. thats why i was so surprised when she didn't eat!! arter 2 tries i washed the rat and scented it with live rats ( the dead one was quite bloddy but she usually likes that). nothiung worked.

this morning i found a large poop. could this be the reason she didn't eat? she was full?

Some people believe soley in feeding only after they poop.
Of course this makes sense in certain situations...

Some snakes, enviormental conditions and cage size spur different metabolic rates, some digest much fasted and poop much faster than others..
also depends how much they are being fed... a boas stomach is not as long/big as one may think....

just my $.02

thanks, Joe Rollo

but anyway, nothing to worry about - yes check all your options, but no need to be concerned.

I have 1 boa out of more than 100 that has only eaten 8 times in 2 years. She is one of the healthiest boas I own too!
